Long Socks!

Long Socks!
Many reasons to wear long socks and I think more of a safety fashion statement really.  I have skinned my shins doing box jumps and also dropped a bar with weights down the front of my legs.  I swear if I wasn't wearing my long socks the outcome of cuts would have been worse.  Plus it keeps my old muscles warmer!  You can buy at your local target for $2.00 and so worth it. 

Peach and Pecan Scramble
1/2 peach-diced
2 tbsp chopped pecans (I have taken these out)
2 eggs
1 tpsp unsweetened applesauce
1/8 tsp cinnamon
In a skillet put some olive oil on medium heat and then add peach and pecans and stir-fry 2-3 minutes till peach soften.  Then add all the other stuff and scramble till eggs are cooked.

  1. Alright! You guys are making me try some of these recipes. I am not to keen on peaches and eggs, but the pudding sounds good. Not sure that I am going to be able to get Jeff to come along on this journey with me, but he might try some the things if I do not tell him what is in it.

    You both know that I am not a breakfast person, but yesterday and today I had a hard boiled egg when I got into the office! Baby steps....Thanks for all the support, I have started to copy and paste the recipes in a document for myself. Have a great day!

    So tomorrow I am starting the Neera Master Cleanse its a week cleanse and basically all liquid so I will keeping you posted on it.

  3. WOD of the Day 30 min workout and go on every 5 minutes. So will be 6 rounds so your rest is what you have left after doing movements.
    10 pullups
    10 Push up Burpees
    10 Push Press 65#
    250 meter row.
    Times: 2:20, 2:40, 2:50, 3:00, 2:55, 3:04 SO I had about 2 min rest inbetween activities. Very hard, but did all pull-ups unbroken and burpees. The press first set did 10 straight, then next round 5 and 5 and the last ones groups of 3,3 4. WOW my traps were sore.

  4. I think when I make this for myself I"m going to try macadamian nuts. I'm w/ you Tif, peacan are a little strong for me.

    I'm making a breafast cassarole:
    12 eggs
    chopped up red, yellow and orange peppers
    chopped up sausage
    Basil
    Sea salt

    Bake

    Easy to take cold to work or warm in over and put salsa on it.
