What a view! Hello all of you! Great workouts, you both are doing awesome! I look up to you both. This weekend was a great weekend for me. My gym had a 7 peaks hike on Sat. and Sun., I could only make Saturdays hike, but it was awesome. All women (26 in all) did 15 miles of hiking on Sat. started at 7:00am and finished about 3:30pm. We did two trails by my house and then 2 trails by Squaw Peak (Tiff you may have heard of that trail) the third which was Squaw peak was the hardest, 4 miles RT and grade increase was to 1200 ft. Once you go to the top you felt like you were on the top of the world. It felt like doing 100s of lunges, because the trail was so steep. It probably wouldn't of been so bad if we didn't do 2 other trails with almost the same incline before hand. It was a nice experience and fun to be with all women and meet some great individuals. by April Lamb

Tuesday we had to modify my workout b/c of my hands so I did:
5 rounds for time
roman chair situps - 10
gobblet squats - 20
6min. something, something.
Wednesday - OFF thanks God - its was filthy fifty. Tiffany, Clint said that is you coaches (Fitzgerld) LEAST favorite of all the WODS.
Thursdays was:
20 high pull cleans - 2 front squats - 65#
18 hight pull cleans - 4 FQ
16 HPC - 6 FQ
14 HPC - 8 FQ
and so forth

Tomorrow I am doing the newbie shuffle w/ my friend Erin who is interested in seeing what its all about. I hope she likes it!!
Great evening as you all have seen w/ Shane getting Sargent, now my hope is to get him to join also w/his new days off. He will have to work weekends and will be a bit of adjustment, but we will get used to it. ]

b) HSPU as many sets of 2 unbroken as possible in 5 min- did 7 rounds then 6 singles at end.
c) Deadlift @ 30x0 8-6-4-6-8 3 min rest
194, 214, 234, 224, 214 this was tough.

I frickin did it!!! Got my first rope climb tonight!!! I brought a friend along for her first workout. She stuck it out and did great! Thought she was going to quit, but she made her next appt. While she was going that, I got some instructions on the rope climb. I still can't believe I got it!!!
ReplyDeleteDid the newbie shuffle w/ my friend Erin (requirment at our gym when you bring someone in new) My 1st Newbie was something else. I don't think I made it past round 3 and I was looking to throw up. Tonite I got 5 rounds plus 8 calories on rower.
