Smile!

I have been the worst blogger every!  I would say I have been in a bit of a slump after my crossfit comp last weekend!  I was in the dumps and told my trainer I didn't want to do the big competition this year.  So didn't workout much last week.  Had a great meeting with him on Friday and feel back on track.  I guess the moral of the story is you can only do ask good as you can do.  You can't expect more than your life permits at a certain time.  I can't compare myself to other people that live and breath it.  I am just going to stay within myself and do what I can do.

  1. Tif Sat WOD- with Todd, Kael, Giancarlo and my brother showed up. Fun day. We set up a 6 station kids crossfit for the boys.

    7 Sets of: Rest workout time.
    15 Kettle Bell Swing- 24kg
    Row Sprint 300 meters.
    1:49, 1:52, 153, 153, 1:52, 1; 53, 1: 54 was tough.

    Todd and I did our 60 Push-up burpees for the challenge.

    Sunday Group WOD at OPT- Liz, Laura and I.
    3 sets of
    15 Thursters with 75lbs
    12 Chin-ups
    9 Burpees
    Rest 5 x the workout time.
    1:35, 1:31, 1:29 felt very strong this workout. Girls had a hard time with the 75lbs for thursters.
    Did my 62 push-up burpees for the Challenge.

    Great weekend lots happening with Todd and Kael. really enjoyed it.

  2. I've been bad at posting also!!!But I have been working out. I had log on issues and then time got away. I love you! You are an amazing athlete Tiff!!! No, you can't live and breathe it, you have a job and a house payment!!!!

    Big news tonight, did my first workout w/ pullups and NO BAND tonight. I friggin did them!!!!!! I owe you for that. You helped break the movement down.

    20 min, AMRAP
    I complete 13 rounds
    5 pull ups (no band, no band, no band) teheheheh
    10 push ups (no knees, no knees, no knees)
    15 air squats.

    A4. Vertical Jumps, 5 max effort reps x 5 sets, 5 min rest

    Felt tired.

    WOD:
    As many reps as possible in 10 minutes:
    Row 7 min for max meters
    1898m
    Push-up Burpees for 3 min - max reps
    44 reps

    after this one, know i can push harder.

    Tiff your are an athlete. A damn good ALL AROUND ATHLETE!! Good at all, almost master of all. I think this is better than being a MASTER OF ONE. Keep smiling.

  5. Yesterday was:
    10 min - AMRAP

    row 300 meters
    30 - Barbie pulls (35#)
    30 - KB squats (35#)

    2 complete rounds, started the 3rd (got the row and 1 Barbie pull).

    Tonight I was off - made a pork stir-fry. Thinking about a cleanse, I feel puffy. Maybe I just need to concentrate on cleaning up my diet. Rid of cheese, sour cream and cream cheese. I don't think a mix of Atkins and Paleo are working for me!!!!

    For time- 7:06
    Wall balls #14- 21, 18, 12, 9, 6,3
    and 25 double unders inbetween sets.
    So 84 wall balls and 200 double unders. I did the first 21 wallballs un-broken. Very happy with that.

    68 Push-up Burpees for the challenge

    A1) Squat Clean clusters 1.1.1.1.1 x 4 sets- 2min rest- 95lb, 105lbs, 115lbs, 120lbs
    A2) Hand Stand-Pushups AMASP x 4 sets -2 min rest
    did 3, 4, 3, 3 getting the kipping going.
    B1) Over Head Squat 50x1 3-5 x 3 sets- 75lbs-5, 85 lbs-4, 85lbs-5
    B2) Chest to bar chin-ups AMRAP x 3 sets- did 5,6,6 could have done more.
    C) Rign dips as many sets of 3 in a row in 5 min- did 9 sets of 3. was happy with that.

    Todd and I did 70 PUB in the bed room for the challenge.

    Legs are toast!!! if the goal was to kill the thighs, i succeeded. just couldn't get 20 unbroken Wall Balls for last two rounds.

    5 minute at 85%- 3 round 150m
    15 WallBalls 12#
    200 meter row
    rest 3 min
    5 min at 85%- 7 rounds + 5 toes to bar
    5 toes to bar
    25 double unders
    Rest 3 min
    5 min at 85%- 6 rounds + 5 pres
    5 push press 30 lbs per hand
    25 air squats.

    The last one was harder than it seemed.

    Friday WOD
    3 Rounds rest 5 times workout:
    15 24" box jumps
    12 Power Snatch 65Lbs
    9 Push Up Burpees
    TImes: 1, 35, 1, 31, 1:25

    Then did 174 Push up burpees for challenge. Did groupd of 22 fast as I could. Suggestion from Mike! Love it.
